A real village pub with probably the best views in Oxfordshire

If you visit the quaint village of Beckley, you will come across our much-loved pub. Once inside, you will find a cosy and welcoming bar and restaurant that can only be described as a real village pub – a rare find these days. We have a cosy sofa area with a real log fire in the winter, a beautifully-decorated dining room and lots of causal seating in the bar if you fancy a relaxed drink and some bar food. The whole premises are non-smoking but smokers can still keep warm in a sheltered terrace under the warmth of patio heaters. Whilst the atmosphere at the Abingdon Arms is cheerfully relaxed, our staff are friendly, attentive and professional.

“The perfect pub…The Abingdon Arms is the kind of pub
people are prepared to move house for.”
Katherine MacAlister, Limited Edition

Outside, you will be amazed by the far stretching views of beautiful Oxfordshire. We have a large sunny terrace and patio area, trickling waterfalls and plenty of open space and fresh air. Even on cold nights, you can enjoy the outdoor space as we have gas patio heaters to keep you warm.
